How often should this be done?

Service at least once a year. Drysuit zips and seals should be replaced whenever they become worn or start to doze.

How is this done?

The correct and best way to repair a drysuit is to patch, glue and tape any seams. If you are replacing boot or seals the key to dry repair is glue and tape every seam.
